It was hilarious and I could see myself reacting in many of the same ways as Mark. I never could have imagined the characterizations in my head as interpreted by the narrator. Gregg and I enjoyed it so much, I purchased others. I read this story a couple of years ago when it was entitled "Gobsmacked". Would you consider the audio edition of Men of Smithfield: Mark and Tony to be better than the print version? I honestly thought he was going to get his butt killed for most of the story. Also, Mark, who I thought was really funny and endearing, bordered on too-stupid-to-live some of the time. I wanted more development of their romantic relationship. I didn't really get why either of them didn't make a move until now, and I certainly didn't feel the love from them. However, I didn't like how the romance part of the book went down. It was funny, it was paced well, and it had a lot of action. He sounded like a constipated Tony Soprano, and I couldn't feel much for him as a character because I hated the voice so much. I think the narrator did a great job except for the voice of Tony, which kiiiillllleeeeddd me. This was my first audiobook and I'm not completely sold on it. **3.5 stars** I think I would have liked this better on my Kindle and rated it a solid 4 stars instead of 3.5 stars.
